The fashion brand based by the Japanese designer Kenzo Takada. Since 1993 belongs to the French holding LVMH which is engaged in luxury goods.
The history of this brand (prior to the beginning of the 90th years) is, in fact, the biography of its founder. Kenzo in the godforsaken town of Himeji was born on February 27, 1939. Contrary to wishes of parents he managed to get a good education in Tokyo. These years were the most difficult in his life — the young designer had to study and work (for a starvation wage) at the same time. But Kenzo with truly samurai firmness transferred everything. He studied at school of fashion designers of Bunka Gakuen. An institution was considered exclusively women's and Kenzo was one of the first men who managed to arrive there. Having got an education, he begins to work in a local supermarket, thinking out for it clothes styles. He lived then in a tiny lodge on the suburb. This fact also played one of key roles his lives — Tokyo of those years was actively built up, the whole regions of huts communicated and on their place new houses grew. I got under demolition and the house of Kenzo who received quite good compensation. But he didn't purchase the new house, having decided to spend money for osushchestveny dreams of all the life.
